A bonus to work on issues that are important to meMy job as head of quality and environment is both stimulating and challenging. Its a bonus to get to work on issues that are so important to me, in a way that benefits both the company and others. As head of both the quality assurance and environmental management systems, I have a good overall picture thats important for developing partnerships with our customers and suppliers. To achieve better communication and deeper understanding, we happily arrange customer visits to our factory or else visit our customers facilities. Myriam ensures that goals are implemented and followed up, manages her team and liaises with Trioplasts other facilities.Environment and safety always on the agendaWe work in accordance with the ISO 9001: 2015 quality management system. So its just as important to maintain high product qualityfrom sourcing to implementation with the customeras it is to have effective tools, methods and documentation in place. We spend a lot of time dealing with our customers queries about questionnaires, certificates, agreements and other enquiries. One of todays major challenges is the stricter requirements introduced by the new regulation for medical devices, the MDR. When it comes to the environment and safety, the company is currently in the process of upgrading to ISO 14001: 2015 and 45001: 2018. This will include, among other measures, the implementation of Lean management to improve our factory.Saint-Ouen, northern France 27'
